The National APAMSA 2022 Bootcamp Series concludes with the Emergency Medicine Bootcamp. This course is designed for third and fourth year medical students preparing for their sub-internship or intern year. It is a rapid review of core topics, led by an EM attending at Valley Presbyterian/Encino Hospital and residents from Yale and Temple. Topics covered include running a medical resuscitation, trauma in the resuscitation room, how to talk to consults, approach to non-invasive positive pressure ventilation, approach to intubation, approach to headache, approach to stroke, approach to chest pain and shortness of breath, approach to arrhythmia, approach to back pain, approach to GI bleeding, approach to abdominal pain, approach to agitation, and societies within EM.
