Adeline Wang's Punch Needle Techniques for Home Decorations course provides an introduction to the art of punch needle. Students will learn about Adeline's journey from finance to selling punch needle decorations online, as well as the influences that inspire her work. The course will cover the tools and materials needed, how to thread the needle and punch the fundamental stitches, and how to create digital patterns for punch needle projects using Adobe Fresco and Illustrator. Students will also learn how to select a complementary colour palette, print the design onto fabric, construct a frame to stretch the fabric onto, and use the adjustable punch needle to add texture and dimension to their work. Finally, students will learn how to trim the border of the fabric, secure a mirror, and add a felt backing to finish their piece professionally.
