This Autodesk Revit Complete House Design Steps course is designed for beginners who wish to learn how to design a house. Students should have a good working knowledge of how to use a computer, although previous experience with Revit is not essential. Installed software or Revit (which can be obtained from Autodesk) is required, and Revit is not supported on MAC, so students will need to Bootcamp their MAC and install Windows to run Revit. Important Revit files will be provided (Revit 2017 files). A second screen is recommended to view the videos while using Revit on the other.

The course includes two house modelling videos and one fence modelling video. All videos are ongoing modelling videos and include all the practical steps of modelling. As all videos are real-time records, they include all the problems faced while modelling. Through this course, students can practice the modelling steps with the instructor and it will help to improve their design memory and conceptual improvement of house planning. The importance of this is to face the realistic problems and challenges while designing a house and learn how to overcome them. In the final parts of the videos, the instructor renders the models by using Lumion software, giving students a big idea about the realistic views of the modelling.
